I'd rather them concentrate on making another good OS than keep updating an old system.
Either way, you still get rights to XP if you have vista.
If there were major problems with XP right now, then it might make a difference.
they said at the beginning the review was specifically for people that didn't play the other games. You can't expect something to be something it specifically says it's not.
I agreed with two things he said though...
"There are pointless one-, two- or even three-second pauses between lines. Characters grunt and pace and look at each other and sit and think and grunt again and pace some more."
which is probably a result of the second thing...
"Kojima seems shut inside an echo chamber where no one tells him "no" and devoted fans scream "yes" no matter what he does."
I swear ...
People with opinions that differ from other people are dumb and wrong...
You didn't read the first paragraph did you?
they aren't ads, they're announcements. It's all announcements of newly released or featured content on XBLM.
I heard somewhere that you could turn them off, not sure how. mess around in the system blade. (NOT CONFIRMED)
They already announced XNA implementation into XBL, and it's very doubtful they won't integrate that into the blade system somehow.
This rumor is uber fud.
This probably came from the fact that there isn't going to be a spring update this year in the traditional sense. They decided to up the performance of the live service after what happened this x-mas instead of doing anything major for the spring feature wise.
He's probably talking about either piece of the split memory. I'm sure none of you have ever said anything that could be taken out of context before.
At least this one is a developer interview. Almost everything pro-360 posted on this site has some twist of M$ being desperate or nervous.
A lot of the RAM on a PC goes to running background programs. The whole 2gb doesn't go solely to running whatever game it is you're playing.
you so did not get in before the flame war :-p
What if they're trying to make a point of showing how similar games look now?
or maybe they just decided to do it for every major multi-plat release.
It doesn't hurt anything when they do it, so they might as well.
right under the original comment being replied to.
It makes it a lot easier for people to read.
Especially against people. You have to hit them almost dead on for anyone to get hurt. There is no splash damage in this game.
It's almost easier to run over people running around than it is to try to shoot at them.
I really wish they made it so the marker over you disappears when they can't see you anymore. There's so many bullshit kills where I'll hide behind a wall or use a smoke screen only to be shot through the wall/smoke because I have a big red arrow pointing...
"i have a question- have developers nearly reached the limit with 360 like they have been saying because ps3 games should not be on par with 360 at such an early stage on the ps3 (especially as its a difficult system to program for)as developers should know every trick possible on the 360 with regards to getting maximum performance."
They PS3 isn't like the second coming of jesus. When it comes to multi-plat games, there's no reason for a developer to put extra time int...
Sky is blue
Just because one company gets a free pass doesn't mean other companies don't get a free pass. MGS4 did get a free pass from a lot of people (IGN especially), it's just getting overshadowed because it happened to get a free pass to the place it deserved to be.
Read some of the reviews. A lot of them don't even talk about anything that would actually influence someone.
The problem lies with the fact that a review shouldn't tell you if a game is a masterpiece or not; it...
they've mentioned software with every sales related PR announcement for the past 2 years.
Read your link. All those prices are for refurbished consoles, are out of business, or are parts missing/broken consoles.
Also, no, price cuts are always good. the PS3 didn't start selling well until it dropped its price twice in the same year.
A bachelors in marketing obviously didn't teach you much about economics. l2supply&demand.
@action
That is just blatantly wrong.
DVDs were a completely different monster that upgraded over VHS in ever way.
Blu-Ray is more DVD with more space than a totally new thing.
